Mardi Gras Gaming opened its doors under the name of “The Hollywood Kennel Club” on December 1st, 1934.  A new grandstand building was added to accommodate not only live greyhound racing but also simulcast wagering on greyhound, harness and thoroughbred racing.

Mardi Gras Gaming offers South Floridians and visitors much more than just greyhound racing.  In December 2006, over 1100 Vegas-style slots were added to the totally renovated 1st floor.  There is also a poker room and an Outdoor Flea Market on weekends.  You will also find various dining options from a fast bite to a relaxed, casual dining experience.

The Mardi Gras Gaming poker room has 30 action packed tables offering Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo and 7 Card Stud with Bad Beat Jackpots starting at $5,000 and Progressive Royal Jackpots. (Click here for rules how to play)

The action begins at 2:00pm and goes through 2:00am. Must be 18 years of age to play. If you get a little hungry, you need not leave the table because waitress service is available for table side dining.

Tournament players are not eligible for Player Funded Progressive Jackpots.

Games Offered
Texas Hold’em $1 & $2 No Limit: Buy-in is Min $50 and Max $100. Blinds are $1 and $2. Player may raise any amount. Player may re-buy any time between hands but may only bring their chips up to $100. Min. re-buy is $40.

Texas Hold’em $1 - $2: This is a fixed-limit betting structure.  A player chooses only to bet or not.  Small Blind is $1. Big Blind is $1. After the big blind player may fold, call or raise. There are 3 raises allowed. Minimum buy-in is $20.

Texas Hold’em $2 Straight: This is a fixed-limit betting structure. A player chooses only to bet or not. Small Blind is $1. Big Blind is $2. After the big blind player may fold, call or raise. There are 3 raises allowed.  Minimum buy-in is $20.

Texas Hold’em $2 Action: This is a fixed-limit betting structure.  Players will ante $2 before cards are dealt then there is straight $2 betting all the way to the showdown. Blinds are $1 and $2.  There is a ‘dealer’ button which is moved after every hand. There are 3 raises allowed.  Minimum buy-in is $4 0.

Texas Hold’em $2 - $4: This is a fixed-limit betting structure. A player chooses only to bet or not.  Small Blind is $1.  Big Blind is $2.  After the big blind player may fold, call or raise. There are 3 raises allowed. Minimum buy-in $50.

Texas Hold’em $3 - $5: This is a fixed-limit betting structure.  A player chooses only to bet or not.  Small Blind is $1. Big Blind is $3. After the big blind player may fold, call or raise. There are 3 raises allowed.  Minimum buy-in is $50.

Texas Hold’em $2 - $5 No Limit: Min/Max Buy in is $100. Blinds $2 and $5. Player may raise any amount. Player may re-buy any time between hands, but may only bring their chips up to $100. Min. re-buy is $50.

Omaha & Omaha Hi-Lo $3 - $5: This is a fixed-limit betting structure. A player chooses only to bet or not. Small Blind is $1. Big Blind is $3. After the big blind player may fold, call or raise. There are 3 raises allowed. Minimum buy-in is $25.

7 Card Stud $1 - $5 Anytime: This is not structured betting. A player may bet $1 to $5 anytime. There are 3 raises allowed. Minimum buy-in $20.

7 Card Stud $2 - $4:  This is a fixed-limit betting structure.  Player may fold, call or raise.  There are 3 raises allowed.  Minimum buy-in is $20.

In accordance with Florida law, Mardi Gras Gaming is smoke free however, the poker room has easy access to a smoking area.
